Now with Center Channel Support and Class-Leading DirectDigital Amplification
Bluesound, the award-winning creator of hi-res wireless multi-room audio solutions, unveils the next evolution of its iconic streaming amplifier: the POWERNODE (N331). Compact yet commanding, the new POWERNODE introduces cutting-edge features never before seen in a product of its kind — bringing the flexibility of both two- and three-channel amplification into a single, elegant unit.
Whether used as the centerpiece of a minimalist two-channel setup or as the engine behind a full 5.1 surround sound system, the 2025 POWERNODE fuses premium audio performance, intelligent system integration, and effortless usability — redefining what a modern hi-fi component can be.
The First Streaming Amp with Center Channel Support
At the core of the 2025 POWERNODE lies a major innovation: three-channel DirectDigital amplification, delivering 100W per channel in stereo, or 80W per channel in a 3-channel configuration — enough to drive a center speaker alongside stereo mains via HDMI eARC. For home cinema enthusiasts, this effectively replaces the need for a traditional AV receiver in smaller systems, while preserving audiophile-grade sound.
And with wireless surround speaker compatibility using Bluesound PULSE components and the PULSE SUB+, the POWERNODE becomes the heart of a fully immersive 5.1 system — with zero rack clutter.
DirectDigital Amplification. Reimagined.
The POWERNODE’s next-gen DirectDigital™ amp topology has been completely redesigned with upgraded components, improved signal paths, and gallium nitride (GaN) transistors — delivering tighter control, wider dynamics, and ultra-low distortion.
This new platform is tuned for both musical nuance and blockbuster punch, equally at home with vinyl reissues or high-octane movie nights.
“With the new POWERNODE, we’re not just delivering hi-res audio,” says Matt Simmonds, Product Manager at Bluesound. “We’re offering a new blueprint for modern living room systems — one that’s compact, flexible, and truly high-performance.”
All-in-One Streaming, Multi-Room Ready
The POWERNODE comes preloaded with BluOS, Bluesound’s powerful multi-room streaming platform, offering native support for over 20 music services, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, and more.
It supports hi-res audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, MQA, and even DSD256, and syncs effortlessly with other BluOS-enabled devices for seamless whole-home audio.
With the intuitive BluOS Controller app (available on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows), users can browse, group, and control music from anywhere — across rooms, speakers, or devices.
More Inputs. More Outputs. More Control.
Bluesound designed the POWERNODE to be a true command center for your entire system. Alongside HDMI eARC, the amp offers:
Optical & analog RCA inputs
USB-C audio input
aptX Adaptive Bluetooth (bidirectional)
6.3mm headphone out with THX AAA™ headphone amp
Wired & wireless subwoofer outputs
Whether you're streaming lossless audio from your phone, connecting a turntable with an external phono stage, or routing your TV's sound through a high-end center channel, the POWERNODE handles it all — with style and precision.

Design That Disappears into the Room
Visually, the 2025 POWERNODE retains its iconic, understated elegance. Available in matte black or white, it features a glass touch panel with a proximity sensor and five programmable presets, allowing instant playback without reaching for a device.
Compact enough to fit on a credenza, discreet enough to vanish into a bookshelf, and beautiful enough to be seen, the POWERNODE is as thoughtful in form as it is in function.
Room Correction, Ready When You Are
For those seeking absolute sonic precision, the POWERNODE is Dirac Live® Ready — allowing advanced room correction with a paid license, ensuring your system sounds its best, no matter the acoustic challenges of your space.
