Eversolo T8: A Dedicated Digital Transport is bridging the gap toultimate HIFI

No DAC, no compromises — just precision streaming with isolation, femto clocking, and reference-grade build quality.

Eversolo has unveiled its latest creation, the T8 digital transport, a DAC-less streaming hub designed for enthusiasts who already own a high-end DAC but want the same sleek interface and broad streaming support that made the company’s DMP-A6, A8, and A10 so popular.

Instead of doubling up on conversion hardware, the T8 focuses purely on clean, low-jitter digital output, serving as the perfect partner for a favorite standalone DAC.

Streaming Without Limits

At the core of the T8 is Eversolo’s custom Android OS, paired with a responsive 6-inch touchscreen. This combination unlocks access to a huge range of streaming ecosystems:

  • Roon Ready

  • Apple AirPlay

  • Spotify Connect

  • Tidal Connect

  • Qobuz Connect

  • Bit-perfect Apple Music playback (CD quality and hi-res)

For fine-tuning in real-world listening rooms, the Evotune room compensation software is also on board. Under the hood, a quad-core ARM processor, 4GB DDR RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage ensure smooth multitasking and stable playback.

Connectivity for Serious Audiophiles

The T8’s triple-streaming input options—Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, and SFP Fiber—are matched with a full spread of digital outputs for connecting to an external DAC:

  • Coaxial

  • TOSLINK optical

  • AES/EBU

  • Isolated USB

  • I2S (with 8 selectable modes)

Isolation is the watchword here. The professional-grade isolated USB output separates power from audio, protecting the signal path from noise and ground potential issues. Likewise, the I2S output is fully isolated to block upstream interference, delivering only clean, jitter-free audio.

Precision Engineering Inside & Out

Eversolo has gone to remarkable lengths to suppress noise and ensure pristine digital transmission:

  • CNC-machined aluminum chassis for rigidity and shielding

  • Front-panel shielding to separate the touchscreen from audio circuits

  • Ultra-high precision Femto clock for ultra-low jitter

  • Super-silent linear power supply, pushing noise down to 30μV

  • Custom 4N oxygen-free copper toroidal transformer with Teflon-insulated wiring for interference rejection and thermal stability

For those with large local libraries, the T8’s undercarriage accepts two 8TB SSDs, turning it into a self-contained digital library as well as a streamer.

Price & Availability

The Eversolo T8 is available now at US$1380 / €1380. An elegant Bluetooth/IR remote is included, with further control offered via the Eversolo Control app for iOS and Android.

Why it matters: By removing the DAC section entirely, Eversolo has created a transport that caters directly to audiophiles who already own a reference DAC but still crave a modern, powerful, and beautifully designed streamer. At under $1,400, the T8 could be one of the most appealing digital transports on the market today.
