A New Era for Exposure

Exposure, one of Britain’s most respected hi-fi names, has introduced its brand-new flagship 5510 integrated amplifier, kicking off an all-new 5510 Series. The company claims this is its “best performing yet”, blending premium components, meticulous engineering, and a design built for decades of musical enjoyment.

Muscle Meets Musicality

The 5510 delivers 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms, ensuring it has the drive to handle a wide variety of loudspeakers. Exposure promises “deep, controlled bass, richly detailed mids, and sparkling highs”, no matter the genre.

At the heart of the amplifier lies a custom toroidal transformer with a hum shield and low-noise architecture. The result? A pitch-black background against which music can shine with clarity and precision.

Fully Analogue — But Built to Evolve

While the 5510 is a fully analogue design with six line-level inputs, its standout feature is upgradeability. Owners can expand its capabilities with:

  • Phono boards: Choose moving magnet or moving coil for turntable playback.

  • DAC+ board: Adds digital connectivity, including USB (up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD) plus optical and BNC inputs.

This modular design means the amplifier can grow alongside your system, whether you’re focused on vinyl playback or high-resolution digital streaming.

Premium Build and Thoughtful Features

Encased in a high-grade aluminium chassis, the 5510 is built to control resonance and vibration that could color the sound. The front panel features a sleek OLED display with five brightness settings and auto-off mode, while pre-outs and tape outputs provide further flexibility. A remote control is included as standard.

Pricing and Availability

The Exposure 5510 integrated amplifier is available now in black at £4600. US and Australian pricing will follow soon.

The new 5510 Series sits above the brand’s long-running 3510 line, which began with its own integrated amplifier before expanding into separates including preamps, power amps, and even a CD player.

In short: With its blend of muscle, refinement, and modular upgrade paths, the Exposure 5510 aims to be the amp you buy once and keep for a lifetime.
