At this year’s High End Munich show, one of the most anticipated reveals came quietly — but with undeniable confidence — from HiFi Rose. The South Korean audio innovator pulled back the curtain on the RS451, its latest music streamer designed to merge cutting-edge functionality with audiophile precision.

While full pricing and release details remain under wraps, early hands-on impressions confirm the RS451 will be a standout addition to HiFi Rose’s already-acclaimed lineup.

At its core, the RS451 is powered by the ES9027 PRO DAC from ESS, capable of decoding PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512, putting it in league with some of the most capable streamers on the market today.

But it’s the connectivity suite that really turns heads.

Modern Integration, Elevated

  • HDMI eARC input for seamless TV audio integration

  • AirPlay 2, aptX Bluetooth, and Roon Ready status

  • Optical, coaxial, USB-A digital outputs, plus balanced/unbalanced analog outs

  • Three headphone jacks (XLR, 4.4mm balanced, 6.3mm) on the front panel

On the visual front, the RS451 shares HiFi Rose’s signature industrial aesthetic — clean lines, brushed aluminium, and a vibrant 9.9-inch touchscreen that brings both form and function to the forefront. A generously sized volume dial on the right adds a tactile flourish, reinforcing the brand’s blend of digital sophistication and analog pleasure.

Available in silver or black, the RS451 looks poised to serve as both the centerpiece of a modern streaming rig and a high-performance headphone hub. It’s a streamer built for both serious listening and everyday enjoyment, with enough I/O to anchor even the most demanding systems.

What We’re Waiting For:

  • Final pricing and release date (coming soon)

  • Full platform support beyond Spotify (Tidal, Qobuz likely)

  • Possible integration with other HiFi Rose ecosystem components

HiFi Rose has earned a loyal following by building streamers that are as enjoyable to use as they are to hear. With the RS451, it looks like that tradition is set to continue — now with more versatility, more resolution, and a screen that practically begs to be touched.
