JBL has introduced the Rise, a multifunctional Bluetooth speaker that doubles as a music alarm clock.

Designed with a sleek docking-style aesthetic, the JBL Rise blends seamlessly into any space. It features an adjustable-brightness LED display with large characters for easy readability and physical buttons for intuitive control.

The speaker is equipped with dual independent full-range drivers, ensuring rich, dynamic, and well-balanced audio—whether you're listening to music, radio, or using it as an alarm. With Bluetooth 5.3, the Rise offers a fast and stable connection with minimal power consumption and high-quality audio transmission. Additionally, it supports FM radio playback with a high-efficiency metal whip antenna for clear stereo reception and allows users to preset three FM stations for quick access.

For added convenience, the JBL Rise includes a 5W wireless charging pad on top, enabling effortless smartphone charging, alongside a USB port at the rear for wired charging. The built-in AC power adapter supports 100-240V voltage, requiring only a single power cable for operation.

The FM tuner covers a frequency range of 87.5-108MHz, giving users access to a variety of radio stations. The device measures 218mm x 65mm x 148mm and weighs 0.75kg.

Competing Smart Speakers

Other brands are also expanding their smart speaker lineup. Xiaomi recently launched the Smart Speaker Pro, offering advanced AI capabilities and enhanced audio at a competitive price. Meanwhile, Blaupunkt introduced the Atomik OMG Speaker in India, featuring 75W sound output, neon lighting, and IPX6 water resistance.
