Elevating Audio Performance with Cutting-Edge Innovation

Rega has unveiled the latest evolution of its iconic Brio integrated amplifier—the Brio MK7. Representing a significant leap forward in design, performance, and functionality, the MK7 refines what has long been considered one of the most musically engaging amplifiers in its class.

Engineered for audiophiles who demand both warmth and precision, the Brio MK7 is housed in a sleek, half-width custom aluminum chassis, blending modern aesthetics with Rega’s hallmark engineering excellence. Delivering 50W per channel into 8Ω and 72W per channel into 6Ω, this compact powerhouse is designed to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers with effortless clarity and dynamic range.

Enhanced Circuitry for Unparalleled Sound Quality

One of the most notable upgrades in the MK7 is its fully redesigned circuit layout, optimized to minimize distortion and enhance signal purity. By incorporating a secondary raw power supply, Rega has effectively isolated the output stage from the driver stage, line inputs, and phono amplifier, ensuring an even cleaner and more detailed sound signature.

Additionally, higher-spec MUSES operational amplifiers have been integrated into the line stage, DAC, and phono amplifier, delivering improved resolution and dynamics across the frequency range.

Built-In Rega DAC for Superior Digital Playback

For the first time, the Brio MK7 features a Rega-designed onboard DAC, vastly expanding its versatility. Equipped with two high-quality digital inputsS/PDIF coaxial and optical Toslink—this allows seamless integration with a variety of digital sources while maintaining the amplifier’s analog warmth.

The DAC supports high-resolution audio playback with sampling rates up to 192kHz, ensuring a level of clarity and detail that meets the expectations of discerning listeners.

A Refined Phono Stage for Vinyl Enthusiasts

Rega’s heritage in analog audio is evident in the Brio MK7’s dedicated moving magnet (MM) phono stage, meticulously engineered to extract the best possible sound from vinyl records. This stage benefits from improved isolation, high-spec op-amps, and enhanced gain circuitry, allowing turntable users to experience unrivaled transparency and depth in their records.

Precision-Engineered Headphone Amplification

For private listening, the Brio MK7 features a high-performance headphone circuit, intelligently designed to minimize interference with the main signal path. Unlike many integrated amplifiers, which compromise overall sound quality when a headphone jack is engaged, Rega has ensured that the headphone output delivers exceptional fidelity without disrupting the speaker performance.

Smart Features & Advanced Protection

Beyond sonic excellence, the Brio MK7 introduces several modern conveniences for a seamless user experience:

  • Standby & Auto Standby Mode: The amplifier automatically enters standby after one hour of inactivity, reducing power consumption. This feature can be disabled if desired.

  • Thermal Protection System: If the amplifier reaches unsafe temperatures, it will mute the speaker output to prevent damage. If overheating persists, it will power down automatically.

  • Short Circuit Protection: Advanced fold-back short circuit protection ensures that the amplifier is safeguarded against excessive currents without compromising audio performance.

Sleek Design & Intuitive Control

Encased in a refined aluminum chassis, the Brio MK7 combines durability with a sleek, modern aesthetic. A custom mini remote control is included, offering effortless operation—including powering the unit on and off remotely.
